This collaboration is about up-cycling and using different techniques and materials in contrasting way…. intuitive design and working with what we have around us to come up with shapes and combination of textures, colours and techniques. Inspired by Gone Rural, always bold and a little bit quirky! So far we have three different collections in development which are about different aesthetics and themes.
So far the team consists of Philippa, Zinhle (chief sample-maker at Gone Rural) and Lindiwe. Lindiwe has just started work at the end of last year and already she knows about 10 different techniques and is also learning to sew on the machine….. We are very keen to develop this creative relationship and see what the future holds…. The sky is the limit!
